Rene Perez

Rene works side by side with his clients to help them make smart investment decisions. He customizes a comprehensive financial plan based on their individual needs, family dynamics, time horizon and level of risk. He helps his clients work towards their life goals and dreams. For nearly 20 years, Rene has been providing sound investment plans and strategies by truly understanding the financial goals of his clients. He began his financial career at Bank of America in 1996 as a Premier banker, acquiring the knowledge to simplify the complex needs of sophisticated banking clients. In 2002, he became a financial advisor at Bank of America, where he built a large base of international and domestic clients, many of whom he continues to advise today. In 2007, he joined Wells Fargo Advisors as a vice president of investments. Rene prides himself on being a man of character and integrity, advising each of his clients as if he or she were a member of his own family. Rene is part of the team that co-founded Excelsis Global Private Wealth in 2021.

Rene was born in Laredo, Texas, but grew up in the state of Coahuila, Mexico where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Rene is bilingual, speaking Spanish and English. In his free time, he enjoys biking, hiking, swimming, dancing, playing tennis, traveling, dining out, and cooking. He likes to spend time with family and friends and his three French Bulldogs. He continues to study French and Italian at his leisure.
